Purnima 2027 Dates in Marathi

Purnima (पौर्णिमा) is the full-moon tithi in the Marathi lunar calendar. This 2027 list shows the monthly Purnima dates together with observances such as Vat Purnima, Guru Purnima and Kojagiri. Where a festival is marked on the previous evening or the tithi continues into another day, the note explains the difference.

Important Purnima observances

Vat Purnima is marked on Friday, 18 June 2027, with the Purnima tithi continuing into the next morning. Guru Purnima falls on Sunday, 18 July. For Shravan Purnima, the calendar marks Narali Purnima on 16 August and Raksha Bandhan on 17 August.

Kojagiri Purnima is marked on Thursday, 14 October, while Navanna Purnima appears on 15 October. In November, Tripurari Purnima is marked on 13 November and the tithi continues into 14 November. Datta Jayanti falls on Margashirsha Purnima, Monday, 13 December.

Why do some Purnima entries mention two dates?

A tithi can begin during one civil day and end during the next. An evening observance may therefore be marked on a different date from a sunrise-based observance. In March, for example, Holi is marked on 21 March while the Purnima tithi continues on 22 March. The notes preserve both pieces of information.

Use the named festival date when looking up that festival. For a vrat, puja or other ceremony that needs a particular time, confirm the local tithi window with the Panchang followed at home. This list does not supply city-specific start and end times.
